- Music, Essential Elements 2000 [Textbook].  Percussion Book I. Adult All in ONe Piano Course; Alfred's Basic Guitar Method I.
- Music, Rhythm Reader Level I & II [Textbook].  Play rhythms on various percussion. Teacher selected compositions from music library, upper elementary textbooks, Music K - 8 Magazine, etc. Selections will vary. Students will accompany sight singing with chimettes. Students will play simple compositions on chimettes.

    Perform
The learner will be able to perform music at appropriate levels of difficulty (such as prescribed by the Arkansas Choral Directors Association, Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association, and Music Educators National Conference in formal and/or informal concerts.

- Music, Rhythm Reader Level I & II [Textbook].  Students will perform rhythms with various percussion instruments.
- Music, Ear Training; Alfred's Basic Piano Library [Textbook].  Books 1 - 4; Exercises throughout book require students to fill in missing rhythms and pitches. These exercises progressively become more difficult.

- Music, group performance; various occassion [Textbook].  Christmas program, nursing home visits, HSC Rehab Center, etc. Performance will be video tabed. Students will view the tape in class. Each student will grade the performance by a teacher made checklist.
