The Poyen Board of Education met in regular session Monday, May 5, 2003, in the boardroom.
A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by David Phillips to approve the recommended members of the Poyen School Vocational Advisory Council. Motion carried.
A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Tommy Moore to increase the cafeteria supervisor’s salary to $4500 above the appropriate years of service for the 03-04 school year. Motion Carried
The board discussed legislation, school funding cuts, end of school, and graduations.
