The Poyen Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, April 5, in the boardroom.
A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by Nathan Goodman to accept the legal transfer of the children of Vickie Green. Motion carried.
A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Kathy Gravitt to accept the legal transfer of Dan Cook. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by Nathan Goodman to accept the legal transfer of the children of Donna Henderson. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Nathan Goodman and seconded by David Phillips to approve the 2004-2005 school calendar. Motion carried.
The board discussed the possibility of building a new high school building.
The next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4, 2004.
