A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by David Phillips to renew Bobby Daniel’s current contract as principal for one additional year July 2006-June 30, 2007. Contract amount will follow supplemental salary index. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by Nathan Goodman to renew Tina Elliott’s and Gary Shoptaw’s contracts for 2004-2005 school term. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Nathan Goodman and seconded by Lester Webb to grant legal transfer of Jessica Nicole Edwards to Ouachita School. Motion carried.
The board discussed the legislative session and new funding formula, mileage equalization and the possibility of extra funding for construction.
The next board meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 1, 2004.
