A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by Lester Webb to only inventory fixed asset items that are valued at $1000 or more. Motion carried.
A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Tommy Moore to renew Jerry Newton’s current contract as superintendent for one additional year July 06-June 30, 2007. Contract amount will follow the supplemental salary index. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Nathan Goodman and seconded by Kathy Gravitt to appoint Jerry Newton ex-officio secretary for 2004-05, 2005-06, and 2006-07. Motion carried.
The board discussed the legislative session and proposed bills.
