The Poyen Board of Education met in Regular session on March 1, 2004 in the boardroom.

A motion was made by Tommy Moore and seconded by Kathy Gravitt to approve the salary schedules for 2003-2004 (BSE-$1000 increase, BSE 18-$1200 increase, MSE-$1500 increase).  See attached list of increases and schedule.   Motion carried.

A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by David Phillips to approve the salary schedule for 2004-2005 (to bring 0-2 years experience in line with the rest of the teacher schedule, to increase cafeteria to meet hourly requirements, to increase administrator multiplier and combine amount of living expense and in-district travel into the multiplier amount.  See attached list of amounts and schedules.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by Lester Webb to approve Amanda Jones request for leave of absence for August 12, 2004-October 1, 2004.   Motion carried.

A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Tommy Moore to employ all classified and certified personnel who requested employment for 2004-2005.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by Kathy Gravitt to employ Amy Butler as a teacher for 2004-2005.  Motion carried.
