The Poyen Board of Education met in regular session on Tuesday, November 8, in the boardroom.
A motion was made by Nathan Goodman and seconded by David Phillips to delete items on the attached list from inventory. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by Lester Webb to accept the resignation of Willene Hopkins at the end of the 05-06 school year. Motion carried.
A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Nathan Goodman to hire Beverly Sparlin as bus driver for 2006-2007. Motion carried.
The board discussed the building project, Christmas party at the Whippett on Dec. 22 at 5:30, and school year update.
Meeting adjourned at 7:20. Board meetings are scheduled for December 1, 2005 and January 9, 2006.
