The Poyen Board of Education met in regular session
on Thursday, June 15, 2006 in the boardroom.
A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Lester Webb to
approve the May 1st board minutes and the May revenue and expenditure
report. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by Nathan Goodman to
approve the proposed budget for the 2007-2008 school year. Motion
carried.
A motion was made by Nathan Goodman and seconded by David Phillips to
employ Stanley May as football coach for 2006-2007. Motion carried.
The board discussed building projects; maintenance building, concession
building, and administration building. The board also discussed dirt
work and parking area at the football field.
Board meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m. Board meetings are scheduled for
July 13, 2006 and August 22, 2006.
