The Poyen Board of Education met in regular session on
Thursday, June 14, 2007 in the boardroom.
A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by David Phillips to approve the
May Financial report and board minutes for May. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by Lester Webb to approve
student handbook, certified staff handbook, and classified staff handbook for
2007-2008 school year. Motion carried.
A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Kathy Gravitt to approve the
proposed budget for 2008-2009 school year. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by Kathy Gravitt to approve
Special Education Budget Amendment Form. Motion carried.
The board discussed ACT 1587 of 2007. Superintendent provided board with the

Board meeting are scheduled for July 12, 2007 and August 9, 2007.
