The Poyen Board of Education met in regular session on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2007 in the boardroom.
A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by David Phillips to approve the September financial report and board minutes. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Lester Webb and seconded by Kathy Gravitt to approve the 2007-2008 Equity Compliance Report. Motion carried.
A motion was made by David Phillips and seconded by Lester Webb to approve the 2007-2008 Special Education Consolidated Application and Budget. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kathy Gravitt and seconded by Lester Webb to have a faculty and staff Christmas party with the date set by the administration. Motion carried.
The board discussed the elementary school building project.
The next board meetings are scheduled for Thursday, November 1 and Monday, December 10.
