Mr. Newton welcomed the patrons to the meeting and introduced the members of the school Board.
Mr. Daniel and Ms. Elliott discussed school goals and objectives.
Ms. Clements and Ms. Teel discussed Benchmark Testing and Iowa Testing.
Ms. Sanders gave a report on Federal Programs, Curriculum Report, and ACSIP.
Mr. Newton gave a report on the building projects: Sports Complex, New High School, and summer Building Projects. He also told the patrons that Poyen School had been approved by the state for the Partnership Program to construct a new elementary building.
Mr. Newton and the Board opened the meeting to questions.
The questions centered on the possible construction of a new elementary building. Questions were related to the local cost of the building, the make up of the building, location of the building, and need for a new building.
